TWEEQIM is the design studio of husband and wife creative duo MiQ and Thuy Willmott. MiQ made an early name for himself creating art for bands such as Guns N Roses, the Ramones, Motley Crue, the Black Crowes, Aerosmith, AC/DC and Soundgarden. At that time, Thuy had kickstarted her career working for various companies in both the entertainment and toy industries and began sharpening her skills in traditional painting, digital art, and Kustom Kulture. MiQ and Thuy came together while working at their corporate art gigs at Mattel Toys, MiQ as the art director for Hot Wheels product graphics, and Thuy, as a graphic designer for both Barbie and Matchbox brands. After collaborating creatively for various fine art events outside of work, the two decided to team up not only in life, but as a creative business and launched TWEEQiM creativeLab. Since their beginning, TWEEQiM has established themselves as a design brand that focuses on deep story telling and an intricately detailed approach to visual content when working with their wide variety of clientele. TWEEQiM takes pride in being mindful of established design languages, while working with clients to explore new creative stories to craft, share, and celebrate.
Family expansion has only made the heartbeat of TWEEQIM as a family run design business even stronger and louder. Their two beloved children, Boris and Bela, have served as true inspiration not only in being the light of their lives, but through their own creative endeavors in art, music, and film. When not tinkering with various creative alchemy, the Willmott tribe loves hiking, traveling, art walking, museum exploring, putting their feet in the Pacific, rocking+rolling, and refining yet satisfying their foodie palates.
